Students from New Era University College spent their precious Sunday at the Pure Life Society to paint certain parts of our premises. Our thanks to the students who did a marvellous job.

Lions Club contributes Solar Panels

Lions Club Puchong installed 14 Outdoor Solar Panel lights in the gardens of the PLS. A launch “Life just gets brighter with Lions” in conjunction with the International President’s visit was held in PLS on 5th December 2022.Our heartfelt gratitude to Lions Club Puchong for having thought of PLS for this initiative.

Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia

Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia (PENYAYANG) organised Viva Batik Malaysia 2022, a 14-day event, from 29 November – 11 December 2022 at Central Market Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the 1st Anniversary of National Batik Day on 3rd December 2022.
A Batik Christmas Tree has been put up at the Central Market and the beneficiary of the gifts placed under the Tree will be the Pure Life Society’s children. Guests and VVIPs who participated were serenaded with a Choir by the Pure Life children.
A special thanks to Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia for this noble gesture.

The Solar Project

OCBC Puchong Branch, Al-Amin Damansara Branch, Subang Branch, Bolt Industries Sdn Bhd and Lions Club Kuala Lumpur Park City jointly sponsored Solar Panels to Pure Life Society. This initiative will not only reduce the electricity cost but allow us to reduce the carbon footprint. The launch occurred at Pure Life Society MPH hall on November 12 2022 from 10 am to 12 noon. Various activities were organised for the children by the staff of OCBC bank.

The Peace Pole Planting at Ayur Centre

The International Day of Peace was a significant and auspicious event organized by Bro Stephen Nah and Dr Siby. The event coincided with Deepavali, Monday 24th Oct, with a small but appreciative crowd.

The Peace Pole was planted at the Ayur Centre already beams with a serene ambience, to radiate and spread Peace beyond race, in line with this year’s theme for the International Day of Peace “End Racism, Build Peace”.

The event was specially made brilliant with everyone lighting little lamps around the Peace Pole, symbolising light over darkness.
Dr Siby, Dr Amir, Mr PK Moorthy and several other members shared messages of Peace before adjourning to a wonderful feast of sumptuous Deepavali fare. It was a blast, that included some firecrackers.

Murukku in the making

Everybody loves this crunchy and savoury traditional Indian snack. The most exciting thing is that we have many unique flavors that you can’t find anywhere. And of course, Deepavali is not complete without having our famous delicacy, the Murukku.

Navaratri Hindu festival observed in honour of the goddess Durga

Navaratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in the honour of the goddess Durga. It spans over nine nights, first in the month of Chaitra, and again in the month of Sharada. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere.

International Day Of Peace 21 Sept 2022

International Day of Peace, known as the IDP, is celebrated on 21st September every year. This year’s theme is “End Racism and Build Peace.”

The Pure Life Society had its celebration on 24th and 25th September 2022, which entailed a forum, signing of the peace pledge, prayers for peace, addresses, tying of origami butterflies to trees with peace messages written on them and handing over a mini peace pole to a peace convoy.

Peace is eternal. Peace is essential for the world to maintain law and order and for people to live a life without strife. Each individual needs to make peace with themselves and with others by being contented and considerate for the need of a state of peaceful living that is desired by all generations
